This National Construction Appreciation Week, we’re proud to recognize the skilled members of Local 669 who work every day to build safer communities and protect lives.

Construction is about more than putting up buildings; it’s about creating the infrastructure, systems, and spaces that allow our communities to thrive.  Behind that work are skilled members who bring expertise, precision, and pride to every project.

This work carries a special responsibility. The fire sprinkler systems you install and maintain can mean the difference between a small fire and a devastating one. Every system you install represents an investment in the safety of the people who live, work, learn, and gather in those buildings.

You may not always be the most visible workers on a construction site, but your work is there when it matters most. The systems you install are designed to detect and control fires, give people valuable time to escape, and help limit damage.

That is something to take pride in.
